MISSOURI BOTANICAL GARDEN Engagement Session | St. Louis

Taking engagement photos in the middle of summer can be kind of tricky with the heat. It’s a huge blessing when there’s a breeze or it’s a cooler evening. Joey and Ashley met us down in St. Louis at the Missouri Botanical Gardens for their engagement session. Since we started earlier in the afternoon and shot for a while in the Climatron greenhouse, it was pretty hot and humid (but totally worth it for the awesome tropical vibes they wanted)! It felt great to step out of the greenhouse and finish the shoot outdoors! Joey and Ashley are just the sweetest and they rocked their session!! We had so much fun getting to know them better and had an awesome time capturing these two!

Joey & Ashley are getting married in Mexico at the end of the year and finding a location here in the midwest that provided that tropical feeling was important to Ashley. We were all so thrilled with the Missouri Botanical Gardens, it was beautiful (and we always love finding new locations to shoot!)

We can’t wait to celebrate with these two and are so happy they’re part of the #kapfamily!
