A BEAUTIFUL DOWNTOWN ENGAGEMENT SESSION | PEORIA, IL

Meet Charlie and Randi! Can we just start out by stating the obvious?! These two are stunning! And not only in their photos, but in their personalities as well! Sometimes you just get the perfect recipe for a session and we certainly did for this one! Wonderful people, great weather and beautiful light all came together to create magic!

If you live in the midwest, you know the weather can just be hit or miss. Well, leading up to their engagement session, I was keeping an eye on the weather forecast and we ended up rescheduling TWICE! Sometimes a little rain shower isn’t enough to reschedule but let me tell ya, we’re glad we did because it was pouring rain and gloomy on those days! These two knew it would be worth the wait for a beautiful evening with glowy light so we waited, and waited! On the way to their session, my heart just felt light and happy because I knew I wouldn’t be fighting the weather!

When Charlie and Randi first reached out to us, we immediately made the connection with some mutual friends of ours! And similar to our friends, these two are just as beautiful and just as sweet! In fact, Charlie and Randi’s proposal story includes our friends who helped Charlie pull off a surprise proposal in their apartment! He thought it would be fun to celebrate with their friends afterwards and instead of having a separate engagement party, he actually had friends waiting (hiding!!) to come out after she said YES! Their story is so cute and thoughtful, and I have a great feeling that their wedding day will show their intentionality and thoughtfulness for each other too!
