A MIDWEST WINTER WEDDING
We love a couple who stays true to themselves and knows what’s most important to them on their big day! Michael and Abigail had so much fun and brought the day to life with laughter the whole time! There was such an excited buzz in the bridal suite as the girls were getting ready when we arrived. I got a huge welcome from the girls and hugs from the bride before starting in on photographing candids and gathering the details.
One the bride and groom were ready, it was super important to them to have the utmost quiet, private moment for themselves for their first look. And it was epic! If you remember their sweet dancing photos from their engagement session HERE, you’ll definitely want to scroll for the dance that followed the first look! These two could honestly coach every couple in a dance lesson – especially the “dip”!
I’ve yet to mention that Michael and Abigail’s wedding day was a blustery, absolutely freezing winter day. Yet these two and their bridal party were all for popping outside, in-between much needed warm ups, to get the best images possible!
Michael and Abigail’s ceremony was truly unplugged & beautifully Christ-centered. Their reception was a cozy, sweet gathering of friends and family who greeted them and enjoyed a delicious buffet style meal. If you’ve never had the chance to do the old-school traditions like decorate the bride & groom’s car, throw birdseed, and cheer them on as they drive away, you’re missing out! It’s such a fun way to end the day and brings lots of laughs!
Enjoy some of my very favorites from Michael & Abigail’s day!
