A Sweet Fall Wedding

Get ready to meet two of the sweetest, kind-hearted people on the planet. We met them for their engagement session last fall, Mitch & Liz | A Peoria Illinois Engagement Session. They have a super cute met-in-college love story and so of course we had to incorporate the campus into their imagery. We began the day at separate locations, capturing both Mitch and Liz getting ready with their bridal party. Ben met the guys at the reception venue, The Barn III while I was able to spend time capturing candids and details with the girls. These two couldn’t have had a more beautiful day for a wedding!

Mitch & Liz were a A+ couple to work with! They are easy going and relaxed, ready to have fun! It might sound like we’re on repeat about our couples because yet again, this couple was so blessed with a wealth of love and support from family and friends throughout their entire day. As a photographer, seeing similarities and commonalities in clients is encouraging and exciting! This is because we all have unique styles and personalities, it is our intention to truly connect with our clients and ensure we are a PERFECT fit when they book us! Seeing these common threads among our clients assures us that we are matching well with our clients!

There was so much emotion and sweetness throughout the day for Mitch & Liz. They opted not to do a first look, which always amps up the emotion at the beginning of the ceremony. Seeing a groom’s face as his bride to be walks down the aisle is always such a special moment! When Liz’s dad walked her down the aisle, there weren’t many dry eyes (including my own) as the couple joined each other at the front of the church.

A huge highlight at the end of the night was the live band, that played at their reception! West MacQueen Street did their job on the entertainment front that’s for sure! It was so fun and unique, especially when they got the bride & groom up on stage to play too! All around, it was an amazing day for Mitch & Liz and we are so honored to have celebrated with them!
