A FUN DATE NIGHT ENGAGEMENT SESSION | MORTON IL

Oh my goodness, I am beyond excited to share Tyler and Kaylee’s engagement session with y’all! It’s the definition of a dreamy summer evening date night! No, seriously. I often tell my couples to think of their engagement session as a sort of date night. It’s a one time event that includes quality time together celebrating the excitement of getting married, a chance to dress up and a great reason to go out to dinner after!

(Or in this case, ice cream!) It was the best!

Ben and I have known Tyler for about a year now, as we attend church together and are in a small group together. He and Kaylee met at church and so that’s where we started their session. This summer and specifically the last week has been unbelievably humid, but the day of this session, the humidity cleared up and it was 70’s and gorgeous!

We headed to a local park, where I discovered Kaylee has the. best. laugh! The whole evening was full of hurt-your-face giggles and super sweet cuddles. Even when the camera was down and we were wandering under the trees, these two just connected in the most adorable way the whole time!

After an outfit change for Tyler & Kaylee and a quick drive, we headed to the local downtown DQ. Guys, let me tell you it was the best. thing. ever. These two truly made the cutest little date night vibe out of it and had such a blast! Staying local in a small town also means you might (and probably will) run into people you know, especially at the summer night ice cream hot spot. So, we had some additional congratulations and maybe some onlookers as Tyler and Kaylee dug into their cones. Thankfully, they didn’t mind too much and had tons of fun talking to their friends too!
