Philip + Maggie | Engaged

This is an exciting post to share! Not only did we have a gorgeous winter day to do their engagement session, but Philip is my cousin and we’ve loved welcoming Maggie to the family! Philip and Maggie actually don’t live that far away from us but… just far enough that we don’t see them too often! It was so great to have an afternoon together! They drove our way and we headed to one of my favorite local spots! I’m so thankful we had all this snow and then to top it off, some beautiful sunshine!! Here in the midwest, it’s kind of rare to find a beautiful, snowy day in the middle of winter! In fact, really it’s hard to find sunshine in the midwest in winter!

While it wasn’t super warm, it was the best temps we had seen in a while and these two stuck it out with us and had tons of fun in the snow!! After a snowball fight and a great session, we took advantage of the evening and headed to dinner with Philip and Maggie!

It was a great way to spend time with them since we don’t see them often, we got to hear more about their wedding plans, and enjoy some yummy tacos too!

We had a great time and I am in LOVE with the sunny glow we had for their session! We can not wait to celebrate with these two later this year!
