Welcoming Baby Quinn – a Lifestyle Newborn Session
One of my very favorite things about my job is that I often get to witness couples growing into the role of parents. This is so special, and even more so when I’ve known the couple beyond that journey like I have with Brandon and Sam. I grew up with Brandon in Michigan and now we have both moved to Illinois and live close by! I had heard and knew that Sam was special when they first met. We were at their wedding and celebrated as they joined each other in life’s daily journeys. When I get to photograph people with such a personal kind of history, my heart just overflows!
Now as parents, they continue to grow together, but with a 3rd member to their team. Brandon and Sam are both kind and laid-back, and I think that little Quinn follows suit because was a complete dream and slept for our entire session! Or maybe we just caught a really good day and a full tummy, but I’ll take it!
Their sweet pup, Stafford, was a champ about welcoming me into their home and sharing his new little sis. He even behaved so well we were able to get pictures of them together.
Enjoy a few favorites from Quinn’s newborn session…. and yes, it’s ok to feel your heart grow a little from all the feels. 🙂
